DG always give unforgettable gifts.

This morning I checked my in box and SURPRISE, we've received our very first question. This is fabulous! Love it!

My friend is headed to the hospital for open heart surgery. I want to get her an unforgettable gift. Any ideas on what would be good gift? Thank you for your time. Mechelle ;) 


Mechelle, you are obviously a true DG (Domestic Goddess). Of course you want to give your friend an unforgettable gift!  Here are some suggestions: 

A fabulous, luxurious robe.

The new Chelsea Handler book. (It's both naughty and hilarious!)

Simple beauty products to make her feel beautiful (even though she may feel like she's been run over by a school bus.) Fancy chapstick, L'occitane hand lotion, etc. This would be great brought with a fabulous robe!

More so than anything that you can buy, offer to bring over her laptop or just hangout and watch some trashy TV and paint her toe nails while she's recovering in the hospital. She will really enjoy your company and support while she's healing.
